All I want for Christmas is a nude calendar and there are plently around this year.
The latest offering is from Tech London. Why is this so important I hear you ask. Well, aside form being for the benefit of a good charity, our very own industry representative, Poppy, appears as Miss October (or January or February … well she is in it!!).
This is London reports Miss Way of techfluff.tv as saying she hoped the calendar “… would improve the image of people involved in technology start ups. I really think that geeks are the rock stars of today, and hopefully this calendar can help celebrate the geekiness of people. What could you want more for Christmas than a load of naked geeks on your wall?”
What indeed!
The calendar is made up of 24 men and women who work in tech in London, on one side are all ladies and on the other side are chaps so whatever your sexual orientation you will be able to hang up the calendar and enjoy the view. I am told it is all in the best possible taste.
Anyway, if you want one, you can pre order Firebox.com and it will ship in December. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar go the charity, Take Heart India, a charity focused on IT education projects for blind and disabled students in India.
